Have you ever wondered how many
California Road-workers have died due to unsafe driving conditions? Let’s all
increase road-worker safety awareness by pledging to:
1.
Decrease our speed when traveling in an orange zone.
2.
When traveling in an Orange Zone, during daylight
hours, use high beams, and hazards, as a signal to other drivers of safety
alert, and as a signal to road-workers that we are aware of their presence, and
concerned for their safety.
3.
When traveling in an Orange Zone, during night-time
hours, use low beams, and hazards, as a signal to other drivers of safety
alert, and as a signal to road-workers that we are aware of their presence, and
concerned for their safety.
